Weddings at The Olde Bell

The Olde Bell is the perfect romantic setting for both a wedding ceremony and reception. There are a selection of elegant function suites to suit large or small gatherings, and The Olde Bell can create an event tailormade especially to your requirements.

The historic Tithe Barn can cater for upto 200 guests and has a dramatic backdrop of high beamed ceilings coupled with the old world charm of Old England. The beautiful grounds also make for perfect photo opportunities and marquee receptions. Our expert wedding and events team will ensure you get everything you want from your day.

Civil Ceremonies

The Olde Bell Hotel is licensed to hold Civil ceremonies, which means that
you may take your vows in either the Tithe Barn or the Drawing Room, which are beautifully and individually decorated.
A pre-marriage room is assigned for the Bride and Groom to meet the Registrar separately prior to the ceremony.

Tithe Barn Ceremony & Reception Room Hire ~ £800.00

After ceremony drinks will be taken in The Music and Drawing Rooms situated in the Malt House, which overlooks our ornamental gardens where photographs can be taken to guarantee rooms a £295.00 room hire supplement will be charged (During Peak Season). Guests will return to the Tithe Barn for the wedding breakfast.

Drawing Room Ceremony and Reception Room Hire ~ £400.00

After ceremony drinks will be taken in The Music Room with the Wedding Breakfast served in The Bell Restaurant situated in the main house.

The ceremony should be booked directly with the Registrar stating which room the ceremony is to be held in. For ceremonies at The Olde Bell Hotel, you need to contact Maidenhead Register Office, who will take provisional bookings up to one year in advance. However, we do advise that you check availability with Ye Old Bell Hotel first and make a provisional booking until you are able to contact the Register

A CD and operator is provided for music throughout the ceremony. Please note that any music, readings, words or performance which form any part of the ceremony must be secular (non-religious). The content of the ceremony must be agreed in advance with the Superintendent Registrar.  For full details on the legal requirements please contact:

Additional Options

For over 120 guests we can arrange for a marquee in our grounds where we can cater for up to 500 guests in any weather.  Price upon application.

A separate tea party can be arranged for children under the age of 12 years old with a party entertainer.  Price upon request.

We will be delighted to organise your entertainment, please feel free to discuss your requirements with the wedding consultant.

One of the many difficulties in planning a wedding is finding a reliable wedding photographer.  We liase with a select few photographers who would be only to happy to discuss your requirements, and capture your day beautifully.

Prior to the Day Agree the menu … then try it out ~ We’ll invite you to the hotel restaurant to try out your menu, with our compliments for a table of two, before your special day. (Weekdays only 7pm onwards)

Your Personal Wedding Consultant ~ will arrange to meet with you 6-8 weeks before your big day, to discuss details, including menus, wines, flowers, table plan/settings.  They will be your main point of contact up until the day itself at which point your Wedding Host (Guest Care Manager), will take over and ensure your day goes smoothly.

If your guests would like to stay on after the celebrations we have a selection of tastefully decorated bedrooms and suites offering our guests style and elegance with convenience, efficiency and attentive service.
      
The individually created rooms posses a blend of colour, texture, and atmosphere.

Each of our 46 individually designed bedrooms has en-suite bathroom, colour satellite TV, radio, Hairdryer, trouser press and direct dial telephone with Internet connection as well as tea/coffee making facilities.
